Getting it Wrong

A great opportunity to get hands on and learn how to set and print metal type in a fun workshop with our Director, Helen Smith! This workshop is open to everyone from absolute beginners to experienced printers, and is a great way to find out more about the history of printing while developing your skills.

The workshop is themed around errors, so mistakes are welcome, and even encouraged! You’ll learn about some fascinating examples of where early printers got things wrong, do a bit of detective work to discover where some of their errors came from, and have the chance to reproduce and make creative use of historical examples in your own printing. All participants will go home with a one-of-a-kind print

£50. Please book via the link below.
